About Dead Letter Society
Dead Letter Society creates premium, collectible dark-history experiences for curious people who believe the most fascinating stories are often the ones history leaves in the margins.
Our Archive
Each Grave Goods Case File follows one real historical story. We combine a deeply researched dossier with reproductions of primary sources, considered physical artifacts, original audio, and numbered collector details. Every element must illuminate the case; nothing is included simply to fill a box.
Research Before Spectacle
Dark history involves real lives, real losses, and often incomplete evidence. We distinguish documented fact from interpretation, avoid gratuitous gore, and approach victims and their families with respect. Mystery should deepen curiosity—not excuse careless claims.
Beautifully Unsettling
Our visual world draws from forgotten archives, museum collections, Victorian records, and investigators’ files. The result is dark and atmospheric, but never disposable Halloween merchandise. These are objects designed to be read, examined, discussed, and kept.
Founding Collectors
We begin with limited editions rather than mass production. Case File 001 is planned as an approximately 500-copy first edition, allowing us to validate demand while giving early supporters a meaningful place in the history of the archive.
